Virginia Sloat and new book "Northwest Artists"
Virginia is very proud to announce the publishing of some of her best photographs in a new coffee table book entitled, "Northwest Artists," by Cameron Blagg III. Virginia is one of over 152 notable artists from Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Montana featured in this new book. "Northwest Artists," is beautifully illustrated in full color and has 223 pages. Virginia Sloat lives in Medford, Oregon and has lived in Oregon for 36 years. She has been working in the field of photography for thirty years. Virginia photographs many formal weddings throughout the Rogue Valley. She also schedules many family and high school senior portraits. Virginia also does commercial photography. Her love of photography has taken her to many beautiful places in several western states like California, Oregon, and Washington. She also has photographed parts of Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and South Dakota.
Many of Virginia's lovely framed scenic photographs can be seen at the Rogue Gallery and Art Center in Medford, Oregon. She also displays her work in many lovely local restaurants, gift shops, and banks for the public to admire. Her beautiful collection of photographs are an example of her special talent to capture, the out-door beauty of oceans, mountains, rivers, water falls, sunsets, flowers, and some wild life. Virginia is constantly adding new and beautiful photographs to her collection of fine work. You can purchase Virginia's beautiful photo note cards at many local Rogue Valley gift shops and art galleries. One of these art galleries is located in the Medford Center by Tinseltown Theater and is called Hagen's Fine Art. One of her most popular photographs is of the historical Wood House shot from Hwy. 62 in Eagle Point, Oregon. Another popular photograph is of Crater Lake & Wizard Island located in the Crater Lake National Park, about 60 miles north of Shady Cove. Many of Virginia's collection have been photographed in the beautiful Rogue Valley Area.
